Writing WA recently announced a new one-year professional development program for up to 20 emerging writers in Perth working on a debut full-length manuscript, thanks to state government support from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (WA).
This iteration of the EWP will run between 2024-2025. Writing WA intends to seek funding to support a regional version of the program in the future.
