Jill Griffiths studied biology and journalism at Murdoch University and has been writing about the environment and agriculture for over three decades. Her words have appeared in magazines and on websites, in national parks and on brochures. Jill's first book, What's for Dinner?, a work of narrative non-fiction, was published by Thames and Hudson Australia in June 2023. It is shortlisted for the 2024 WA Premier’s Book of the Year Award. Jill was living in Perth when she wrote What’s for Dinner? but has since moved to a small acreage in Denmark, Western Australia. (Picture by Rebecca Mansell)
